Humanitarian Initiative in Nepal
Abu Huraira RA reported: The Prophet PBUH said, “Generosity is near to Allah, near to Paradise, near to the people, and far from the Hellfire. Miserliness is far from Allah, far from Paradise, far from the people, and near to the Hellfire. An ignorant generous person is more beloved to Allah Almighty than a stingy scholar.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhī 196]
Throughout history, the enlightened people of tariqa have dedicated their lives to the service of god's creation. Being the legitimate heirs of the one, who Allah SWT said in the Quran was "sent only as a Mercy to every creation" (21:107), meaning the Prophet ﷺ, they, the people of Allah (Ahlu Allah), embody the manifestation of the continuity of this mercy among later Muslim generations and among us today.
Walking on the footsteps of the Best of humankind ﷺ, who helped others without expecting anything in return, the disciples of the Zawiyah Karkariya strike again with their inexhaustible thirst to help destitute members of the Ummah, wherever they might be. Despite the hostile international climate that prevails, they yet take us today to a beautiful land rich in history in the Himalayas, the largest mountain range on the planet, that is Nepal.
After the humanitarian initiatives carried out in countries such as Senegal, Togo, or the Philippines by local murids of the Zawiyah, the disciples in Nepal followed suit with their brothers by doing the same. Indeed, they distributed, on Monday June 01, 2020, important rations of food supplies in the locality of Bara, located a hundred kilometers from the capital Kathmandu. The distribution of food was accompanied by joy and excitement of the locals. In fact, the baskets of food will allow beneficiary families to feed their members for at least one month.
The Zawiyah's initiative touched so much the inhabitants of this isolated poor village that they turned towards Allah to thank Him for his boundless mercy and praid the Almighty that He preserves His Majesty King Mohammed VI. They also expressed their gratitude to the Sheikh of the Zawiyah Karkariya, Sidi Mohamed Fawzi Karkari QS, whose headquarters are located in El Aroui, near the city of Nador in Morocco. It is important to note that this humanitarian action highlights the solid bilateral relations which link the Kingdom of Morocco to the Democratic Republic of Nepal.
As a reminder, these initiatives carried out around the world are part of and steps in the spiritual journey of the disciples of the Zawiyah Karkariya, which one of its foundations is the love of others.
