Karkaris Assist Rohingya Muslims
Whenever Myanamar (Burma) is mentioned, the listener expect to hear news related to the massacre of Rohingya Muslims. In fact, for those who yet do not know, our Rohingya brothers and sisters are victims of an oppressive regime that deprives them from their right to citizenship and constantly oppresses them in the most atrocious ways.
The United Nations itself has recognized that Burmese Muslims represent a "religious minority exposed to the most inhuman oppression in the planet".
It was in this distant country that this time the Karkariya disciples carried out a humanitarian operation aiming at bringing some comfort and happiness to our Muslim brothers. The operation took place in Maungdaw, a city in Rakhine State, in the western part of Myanmar (Burma). It is a city bordering Bangladesh and has a strong presence of the Rohingya community. The beneficiaries were Muslim families, totally destitute, to whom were distributed important quantities of food and essentials.
This operation, like all those which have been carried out all over the world in recent times by the Tariqa Karkariya, intervene in accordance with the educational and spiritual foundations of this Moroccan Sufi order and go hand in hand with the orientations of the Moroccan Cherifian kingdom related to the inhuman situation of the Rohingya Muslim minority in Burma.
