Food Donations in Udaipur, India
It seems that the Corona pandemic has not been able to stand up to the dynamism and creativity of the disciples of the Zawiyah Karkariya, as it does not take a day or two for us to hear a new humanitarian initiative.
Indeed, after the disciples of the Zawiyah in countries such as Senegal, Nepal, the Philippines, Togo or Ghana, it was the turn today of our fuqara in India to shine with a beautiful initiative dedicated to promote the well-being of communities hardly hit by the international Lockdown, in an act that inderlines the universal Islamic values of mercy and human solidarity.
In this regard, today, (4 June 2020), the Indian disciples have launched a charitable initiative targeting an important number of destitute families in the city of Udaipur in the State of Rajasthan. It should be noted that food supplies were distributed in this occasion. The distributed rations are sufficient to meet the needs of every beneficiary family for at least three weeks.
Like other beneficiaries of the Zawiyah's humanitarian initiatives around the globe, the Indian families expressed their happiness and joy, and prayed that the Almighty grants happiness and prosperity to the Kingdom of Morocco and its honorable King Mohamed VI, may Allah Grant Him Victory.
The beneficiaries also expressed their gratitude to the disciples of the Zawiyah Karkariya in India, and their Sheikh Sidi Mohamed Fawzi Karakri QS, who indeed educates and encourages his disciples to help the poor, deal consistently with humility with all of God's creation and see the greatness of the Creator in them.
Finally, these beautiful initiatives around the globe highlight ultimately the beauty and the mercy of the Sunnah of our Prophet ﷺ. And, we firmly hope, in this time of human crisis, that the upcoming days bring us more of these comforting international breezes.
